Denim Trend Spotlight: Stripes

Clearly denim has come back in a big way and in some of the more recent seasons it has expanded far beyond your basic skinny or boot-cut jean. Manipulations from dyes, prints and washes to distress, structure and even silhouette has been played and tampered with providing us the largest variety of options of denim jeans for us to buy and live in our closets than ever before.

One of our favorite updates on the basic jean? Vertical stripes. Slimming and elongating the legs there’s an endless array of styles for us to choose from. From micro and faded like in The Elder Statesman to thick stand-out patterns found in both Hudson and GENETIC and sleek tuxedo stripes presented by JBrand and Dsquared, they all allow a variety of ensembles to be assembled and comprised, the only thing they depend on is how much you want to stand out and be noticed.
