Runway Review: Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015

We don’t think it’s exaggerative to say that Christopher Bailey’s Burberry offering is one of the most highly-anticipated, and mass-watched on live stream, at Fashion Week. He so consistently delivers perfection and this season was no different. On a slew of popular models, from Jourdan Dunn to Malaika Firth, Bailey sent his birds and bees-inspired creations down the runway to the sounds of a live James Bay.

Throughout the whole collection, there was an essence of being free and real, his British countryside influences making their appearance in shearling jackets and fabric tied together loosely. The light, breathable theme was really embodied in sheer, ruched dresses paired with the current footwear du jour: trainers. Perfect for sunny, countryside japes. As for the masterpiece? This year’s trench came in beautiful linen. Talk about a summer dream.
