Chanel on 5F – A Bergdorf Goodman Installation

Button up your tweed, grab your quilted boy flap bag and race over to Bergdorf Goodman this week to relish in the crème de la crème of ready-to-wear and accessories as they unveil the installation of Chanel‘s Fall 2014/15 collection. Inspired by the famed campaign “Coco Coach” shot by Mr. Lagerfeld himself, the interior of 5F will be reinvented to resemble a sport club (just in case the lockers and free weights didn’t give the theme away) – allowing all of us the opportunity to shop everything Chanel including Ready-to-Wear, handbags, sunglasses, costume jewelry and even the new sneaker collection we’ve all been so desperately coveting ever since models like Cara Delevingne and Joan Smalls sported them on the Grand Palais/supermarket runway show back in February. This kismet partnership not only has the luxury powerhouse taking over 5F, but the elegant department store has decided to also dedicate their prestigious 57th street window displays to it as well. Sadly, as with most fabulous things in life, this one-of-a-kind instillation is a short lived affair (open now through October 19th) which just means it’s time you high-step it to Bergdorf (on the double!) and check out what the pictures above can only barely do justice for.
