Bobbie Austin's Selects: Peter Pilotto for Target
In a matter of weeks, Target is set to release it's most stylish designer collaboration to date. After years of tapping fashion's most recognizable designers and rising stars, Target has found it's greatest treasure in Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Voshidden–the designers behind the high end contemporary line–Peter Pilotto. Following what I'm sure to be a successful release of this collection, Pilotto and De Voshidden are well on their way to making their brand of polished prints a household name and a closet fixture.
As a print fanatic, it is safe to say that I'm extremely pleased with this collaboration. The collection has all of the elements that I look for while shopping: flattering silhouettes, dramatic prints, high fashion elements and personality. With a lot of versatility in print and design, comes versatility in the wardrobe. What I love most about the collection is how transformational these looks can be. I can wear these looks to school, to work, and most importantly to Puerto Rico–where I plan to spend my spring break. Not only do they work in a variety of settings, but in multiple seasons too. Long sleeve, short sleeve, and strapless; the collections varied fabrics and designs have bridged a gap for the upcoming warm weather months.
