Now there was only one baby to see off to work...Even after more than twenty five years of marriage, Raj still needed to be sent to work .
In a way he was worse than the children, they managed to get themselves dressed and even toasted their own bread to have with milk...
The boys had stopped needing her assistance by the time they were in the fifth grade.
It was only her soul mate who had depended on her for the smallest of things. He had been totally capable of feeding himself but pretended to be all thumbs and not know how to operate the toaster even open a can of tinned fruit...

Sia smiled as the vignettes of their last holiday as a family flashed through her mind...
That day when the rain had made the snow slushy and damp...
The boys wanted to stay indoors and play chess with their dad but he wanted to fit in some activity instead.
Raj had taken Sia for a walk in the woods and she had picked up the fragrant pine cones to weave into a wreath for the front door...
Sia remembered running up the stairs and Raj following huffing and puffing up the stairs...
His chubby frame slowed him down , but he made that last ditch effort and hugged her tight to nuzzle her...
And all Sia could reply with was, "Oh Raj,#WillYouShave ?Your nose is frozen and you're giving me whisker burns. Get away!"
As the tears ran down her cheeks she desperately wanted those whisker burns again , she badly wanted the scratches of his stubble on her chin and she really wanted scream #WillYouShave, but nothing would ever feel like Raj nuzzling her frozen nose again...
