A hint of a new pattern....

I got this piece ( not the sweater coffee cup) that is from Tim Hortons... I dropped into our new store and got this tea this morning after sending more parcels out.... I am talking about my paper piecing made from a sweet friend....
It is a lovely mat for my window sill. I got thinking ( yep those famous words) wellll I am going to design one that will suit the whole length of my window sill. It makes sense...I spend every morning here with my feathered friends and my T-cup and Sumatra for hours each day...

( don't you just love the VINTAGE feel of both cup and mat) me too!....WEll I just finished measuring it and I will work on a new pattern design that will suit this spot perfectly, something that can be washed easily... I just pulled some fabrics and I have my tablet with me, so I will work on something we are away...not away from technology, just from home..* this home.

I was getting my list ready of things to bring as we will be away from home for a bit... had some company to share with you this pm, before we leave....

T-cup sat in the window with me for quite awhile watching the family of blue jays we seem to have attracted this year...much more than last...and gosh do they love their peanuts in the shell. We have to bring BIRD Sitters while we are away to feed our feathered friends each morning...

We call this one MR SCREAM cause that is what he does till I bring out the peanuts...

And LOOK, our cardinals are back ...3 families we have noted so far....and look at how he stands out next to all the sparrows...and they are sooo well camouflaged, you really have to look to see how many are there...

And I am not exactly a squirrel lover but they play well with our feathered friends and often can be seen eating close by .....this one is kinda cute....

but T-Cup made a bit of a sound and that is what scared him off....so on that note....
YOU don't scare me...but I really must run...

Just wanted you to know I certainly have not abandoned my love for quilting too...
