Behind the Scenes: Spring/Summer 2014 Photoshoot

Now that the holidays are over, our minds are wandering off to warmer climates and preparing for spring vacations and a fruitful year ahead. It didn’t hurt that in December, we spent an entire day on the Malibu pier shooting our Spring/Summer 2014 collection (and soaking in a little winter sunshine). The calm seas and empty pier lent perfectly to the cool, crisp tone of the upcoming collection, and made for a memorable day of photography and fashion. Today, take a peek behind the scenes with a few photos from our Instagram.

The day began with a bit of styling from our Director of Design, Mary. With the help of production coordinator Jessika, the collection took on a chic, sophisticated style sense when prints met patterns and unexpected top-and-skirt combinations came together.

On set, photographer Katy charmed a smile out of model Ray outside a surf shop. The crew had a great day exploring the pier together.
