Thanks, I Made It

DIY Gold Drink Bucket

One of my favorite parts of my apartment is the garden courtyard of my building. However, that courtyard is 6 stories below my apartment. So when the beautiful weather this past weekend drove me to spend more time outside, I wanted an easier way to keep drinks cool without having to run back up to the fridge 6 flights up. Enter this easy DIY upcycle-- using a flower pot spray painted classy gold.

Tools and materials:
Rust-Oleum Universal spray paint
Flower pot or bucket
Waterproof super glue

1. In a well-ventilated area, spray paint the pot, following the directions on the can. Let dry completely.

2. Glue the base of the pot to the tray using a strong, water proof glue. Fill the drain holes in the pot to keep water from seeping out. Let dry.

3. Fill with ice, your favorite drinks, and enjoy!
