Describe how you styled our bag with your look:

To me, nothing is more chic than juxtaposition. So even though this rich, shiny clutch looks made for prom night (or club night!) I paired it with a tough, sexy street look: a punky little black moto jacket, some skin-tight high-waisted skinnies, 5 inch high-heeled black booties, and hiding under that big, fluffy blue scarf is a child-size Phantom of the Opera t-shirt that I bought from a street vendor in New York when I was 16. The mask still glows in the dark!

Describe your personal style:

Badass but still pretty, androgynous but still sexy, vintage but still current, and sophisticated but still rock and roll.

What’s the best fashion advice your mom ever gave you?

“The goal with makeup is to look like you’re not wearing it, and the goal with clothes is to look like you’re not trying. Unless, of course, what you want is to look like you’re trying. In that case, go all out!”
