I finally got most of my Valentine’s Day decor up. Between my husband being sick, then I’m starting to feel like I’m fighting something, I haven’t had too much extra energy. So it went up little by little.
Since this is the first time I’ve really decorated for Valentine’s Day, I
didn’t have any supplies on hand. For my wreath, I kept it
simple – I wanted to focus on the inside of the house.
It was a $2 find at Walmart – perfect!
My favorite part is the Valentine Tree!! Love the huge lace hearts I found at the Dollar Tree!! So easy and makes such an impact!! Isn’t it just perfect?
You remember my wall clock that I keep changing with the seasons? Well, here it is, all Valentine-y (isn’t the red wall behind it perfect for this season?):
Then, I used the same LOVE banner I used last year. So easy and sophisticated. I also used the red ribbon to highlight our loved family!!
Saturday, I’m hosting a Valentine’s Tea for the young ladies of our church. I’m definitely going to add more decor for that. Since it’s after Valentine’s Day – I’m going to go hunting for sales the day after V-Day!! I’ve also got red and white paper streamers I can add when it gets closer to the time. I’m so excited. And, yes, I will post about it afterward.
Linking up at all these parties!
