{things i did} bruno mars’ moonshine jungle tour at madison square garden

Without much planning, I've ended up carefully choosing the concerts that I've I've attended over the years. The end result is that the list of my favorite performers who I've seen live appears carefully curated. I guess it is–highlights include the Spice Girls reunion tour and Paul McCartney's first performance at a the new Citi Field. This concert falls right into place among those that I'm thrilled to have seen. Of course you can tell Bruno Mars is talented just by watching him perform live on TV and online but in person he certainly didn't disappoint, dancing and embellishing already amazingly-written songs effortlessly. And a concert in Madison Square Garden brought a special opening act–Pharrell, who sang so many of his hits (you'd be surprised at how many he had a hand in over the years) that it felt like two concerts in one. All-in-all, I can't think of a better reason to have for waking up exhausted, with ringing ears and sore feet but still smiling.
