So Many Lovely Things

B. Make Up launches and master class

I will admit – I wasn’t very familiar with B. Makeup before the lovely breakfast they offered to bloggers – and I was glad I found out; I am pleasantly surprised with their extensive range of makeup and skincare products.

And for the new season, they were launching quite a few crackers, some available now and later this year.

This includes the B. Defined Brow Kit (£9.99), with two shades, wax and highlighter plus a handy tiny double edge brush. I will review this soon, but I was particularly impressed but he highlighter; it is creamy and very sheer, but catches the light beautifully. It is available from next month (May/14).

A balm, the B. Rescued Energising Balm (£10.99) is also a brand new product which is kind of an overall hero for the skin, to be used under makeup or on its own. It claims to transform tired, dull skin and give it a healthy glow. It contains Persian silk tree extract, which helps combat skin toxins that cause puffiness, dark circles and dullness, as well as hydrate the skin for 12 hours. And it can be used as a mask too! This gem is available now at Superdrug.

They are also bringing out limited edition eye products (£6.99). The B. Complete Limited Edition Eyeshadow in Pop palette has three lovely pastel shades and a creamy shadow to act as a primer – handy! The B. Stunning Vibrant Eye Shimmer in Tropic is a shimmery minty green cream-to-powder formula. These colourful additions will be available to purchase from May.

For July/August, they are bring out out two star products: the B. Treated Blemish Gel (£6.99, available in July) and the one that excites me the most: a glycolic cleanser, the B. Glycolic Cleanser. Yes, a glycolic cleanser for £9.99!!! Amazing!

I tried one of their samples and it fell great on the skin, I cannot wait to see how it works day after day. These products are perfect for me, given my skin type and all the issues I have with acne and scars. Ian Baynes, the B. skincare expert who developed the product was at hand to talk about the greatness of this – not only for problematic skin, like mine, prone to blemishes and breakouts, but also for the gentle skin renewing benefits of this acid. it will be hitting the shelves in August. Cannot wait.

They also had makeup artist Cassie Lomas delivering a masterclass for one of this season’s key looks: the graphic liner, including tips on contouring and highlighting, as well as using new products to be launched.

I also like that they created four great looks for the season, and make it easy by grouping all the tools to make it happen!

B. Makeup products are available exclusively at Superdrug and everything in the B. makeup and skincare collection is vegan and certified cruelty free. You can also follow them on Facebook to be on the loop!
