Trend Alert: Rainbow Eye F/2013 + How To with NYC’s Venus Loves Virgo

While smoldering jewel-tone eyes have been dominating the runway, this season it’s all about the Rainbow Eye Trend. And what better way to brighten up the drabddom of depressing shades (alliteration time) that accompanies winter better than a bright eyed chickadee. The trend not only consists of the traditional ROYGBIV spectrum of the color wheel but a more modern twist on rainbow by incorporating pastels, dual, trio, single shade of tonal colors with or without the shimmer. So if a flat out rainbow eye look is too overpowering for your particular taste feel free to play round with subtle variations.
