Haken en schilderen

Vorige week was het al weer twee jaar geleden dat ik deze blog ben begonnen! Ik vind het nog steeds erg leuk om te doen! Het is ook erg leuk om te zien dat er de afgelopen tijd heel veel nieuwe volgers bij zijn gekomen. Bedankt dat jullie me willen volgen! =)

It has been two years since I posted the first message here on my blog! And I still enjoy it very much! It's also great to see that I got a lot of new followers lately. Thanks for following me! =)

Ik hoop dat ik jullie nog niet verveel met al mijn tasjes... Maar ik heb hier nu eindelijk een andere kleur garen kunnen bemachtigen: wit! Dus ik heb weer een tasje gehaakt, en nu met wit er in. Ik ben nu wel echt bijna door mijn voorraad garen heen. Het wordt tijd dat ik weer terugga naar Nederland... ;)

I hope I'm not boring you with all my purses... But I finally was able to get a different color of yarn here: white! So I crocheted another purse, using my new white yarn. Now I really have almost used up all my stash. It's about time that I go back to Holland... ;)

De afgelopen weken ben ik ook nog bezig geweest met een ander projectje: muurschilderingen. De Dominicaanse vlag, de Israëlische vlag en een groepje kinderen. Zaterdag zette ik de laatste kwaststreken. (De foto's zijn een beetje donker, want ik heb ze met mijn mobiel gemaakt.)
The past weeks I've also been working on another little project: wall paintings. The Dominican flag, the Israel flag, and a little group of children. Last Saturday I put the last brush stroke. (The pictures are a little dark, because I made them with my cell phone.)

Ondertussen ben ik ook druk bezig met de Engelse vertaling van het Fleurige Tasje-patroon. Ik had in de planning om die eind juni klaar te hebben. Maar dat red ik niet meer... Dus het wordt nu eind juli.

Meanwhile I'm working hard on the English translation of the Flowery Purse pattern. My plan was to have it ready by the end of June. But I'm not going to make it on time... So it's going to be the end of July.

Komende maandag ga ik het paradijs (zo heet onze wijk hier) verlaten, en vlieg ik terug naar Nederland. Mijn volgende berichtje stuur ik dus waarschijnlijk vanaf Nederlandse bodem de lucht in! =)

Next Monday I'm going to leave Paradise (that's what our neighborhood is called), to fly back to Holland. My next message will be aired from the Dutch soil! =)
