Date Night

With Valentine's a mere few days away, love is in the air. Okay, that was a little corny. Is love really in the air? Or is it just the high temperatures in card shops making you feel a bit woozy after the twenty minute wait to pay for your card. Usually Henry and I, don't do a awful lot for Valentine's. I think one year we went to Nando's but we tend to usually just cook a meal at home and watch a film. Unfortunately this year, we're both working Friday, meaning that we had to have our Valentine's a few days early.

We were very lucky to have a romantic night in package sent to us by Claire's, consisting of a dvd, voucher for dinner, and some accessories for prepping for date night. With face mask's, a eye mask, heart earrings and a hair heart bun, I had all the essentials to make sure I was looking tip top. We also had a voucher for Pizza Express. Who doesn't love posh pizza? After ordering online, we were ready to sit in front of We Are The Millers (very funny and Jennifer Aniston proved why I still have a girl crush on her after 12 years)

It was a really lovely relaxed evening, eating pizza and the odd dough ball, and watching a funny film. No iPhones or iPad, just the two of us *and well Frankie* How are you spending Valentine's? A quiet night like us, or out for something a bit more romantic?
