Two Of The Best Drugstore Concealers I Budget Beauty Week

I see so many expensive, high end products featured on blogs these days, and whilst that is absolutely fine, my bank balance does not agree. Although for the first time ever, I am actually in an okay position when it comes to money, but I'm not about to go blow it all on high end products, after all that dream of owning our own house and driving a Fiat 500 will never happen if I just shopped to my hearts content. Whilst I won't ever be giving up shopping for good *oh no no* i have been trying to find budget items. I have found some gems lately and things that won't break the purse strings either. So I thought I would do a week of posts about the best budget beauty & fashion that I have found lately. Let me just tell you, your debit card will be sighing a breath of relief.

I'm going to kick off the budget posts with two new concealers that I have been using *and loving* recently. Both are from Maybelline and both are under £10, which is a winner in my eyes. SuperStay Better Skin concealer is a medium/full coverage concealer which is great for your face. So I'm talking spots, marks, blemishes, this bad boy will cover it all. I was always looking for a high coverage drugstore concealer and I think I have finally found one. For those more stubborn marks such as acne scars or real monster spots, I use two layers of this. However it lasts all day with a setting of powder and it doesn't go cakey. If you suffer from spots, and want a good high coverage concealer without the price tag, you basically need this.

Moving on to Maybelline's Fit Me concealer, this is perfect for under the eyes, it illuminates the area and covers dark circles meaning you actually look like you've had a great nights sleep! It's creamy, easy to blend and again doesn't go cakey. I find it covers subtle marks and spots quite well, but it's more medium coverage meaning it won't cover everything in it's path. I'm one of those people who when they have a spot, it can't be showing at all, it has to be covered up pronto!

These two concealers have impressed me so much that I have shunned all my other (mostly high end) concealers back into storage. Take a bow Maybelline, you've really won at the concealer game. Don't forget to check back tomorrow to see what budget eye palette has had me shunning my beloved Naked palette..yes really.
