Friday’s Fab Find: Trades of Hope

Sometimes shopping is hard for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love shopping but I have a limited budget and a conscience. I make a point to shop at local, independently owned shops. I also love to give money to places that create opportunities for others. Give gifts while giving back! Isn’t that what the holidays are all about?

I went to a party hosted by Stage Left Studio a few months ago for a wonderful company called Trades of Hope. Trades of Hope sells amazing affordable one of kind, jewelry, scarves, handbags, journals and home decor.

How Trades of Hope Works

The company works directly with artisans themselves and organizations that are helping women in difficult circumstances. These women don’t lack skill, just opportunities. By selling their goods, either online or at home parties , you can help these skilled talented women support their families, escape difficult situations and look awesome while doing it!

You can read all about the good Trades of Hope does by checking out their testimonial page.
And then you can get to shopping! I’ve already found a dozen items I can’t wait to buy both for myself and as unique gifts.

For those of you lucky enough to live in New York Stage Left Studio is hosting an amazing version of one man version of A Christmas Carol starring Dikran Tulaine (you may recognize him from the hit show Blacklist).

See you there!
