T.L.C for the Feet in Your Life!

Talking about my feet is probably not the most thrilling of topics but I’m going to carry on anyway. Ever since my first pregnancy I have suffered terribly with sore dry cracked heels, did I mention how sore they are? Well shortly after our week off at the end of the Summer I got sore dry cracked heels, I’m putting it down to the amount of walking and standing on my feet. So I had to give them a little T.L.C. and thanks to these friendly bunch of foot busting lotions and potions my feet are looking pretty good as far as feet go.

Flexitol Heel Balm £4.99 has been my saving grace, my heels would not heal if it wasn’t for applying this twice a day. The formulation is very thick and the smell isn’t that great BUT it works. If you’ve ever had deep cracked heels you’ll know how sore it is to walk, so applying a little cream that smells a bit iffy is the least of your troubles. I picked up this tube in Boots and did spy some over products in the range but I went with the balm and the results were great. The cracks did take a little while to heal but I think thats partly my fault fir not buying some sooner and plus they got really deep.

I have since been giving my feet a mini pedicure once a week to keep my feet hydrated and soft thanks to…

KIKO Hand & Foot Stone Scrub £5.90* This is the first product I reach for when carrying out this mini pamper sesh! The feet are instantly exfoliated thanks to the pumice stone granules, the packaging is pretty cool as well. A good all round foot scrub.

KIKO Foot & Heel Relief Cream £5.90* sadly this wasn’t enough to heal my cracked heels, which was a bit of a let down to be honest. However this is still a good foot lotion to use on a daily/weekly basis. I like how the formulation is not greasy and easily absorbed.

Soap & Glory Foot Buffer £8.75 is hands down feet down the best foot buffer around. I have tried a few and this one definitely works a treat. I bought this a few years ago and it’s still going strong. I particularly love the mini curved foot buffer formally known as the toe piece, located in the handle- GENIUS idea.

Have you ever experience dry cracked heels?
