Durance White Camellia Candle

You know I’m a sucker for a candle especially this time of year. The evenings are creeping in and lighting a candle just seems second nature to me. There’s something really special about a lighted candle, the warm glow and subtle flicker, not to mention the fragrance filling the air. I’ve even been known to light a candle in the morning especially if I need a little pick me up but 9/10 times I light a candle in the evening.

Durance is a family firm founded and still made today in Provence in France. Great care and attention is used, candles are paraben free, free from sodium laureth sulfate and silicon free. Ingredients are locally sourced. The Prestige candles are very different from your traditional wick candles, these have a wooden wick that runs through the candle. When lit it creates a beautiful flicker with a real crackling sound. Even more soothing and relaxing don’t you think?

The fragrance I’m burning is White Camellia £27.95, a beautiful white floral scent with a clean finish. Candles come beautifully packaged in a gift box, I plan on using mine as a pen pot for my desk, it would also make a great makeup brush holder.
