Max Factor New Launches
Max Factor have recently launched some great new eye makeup in the form of a new mascara and new eye shadow pots. These clever little eyeshadow pots are great for people on the go or if you want to create a simple yet effective look. Excess Shimmer Shadows £7.99 are available in six shades ranging from soft golden tones to smokey charcoal. They are all shimmery but you can build the colour for a more intense finish, the creamy-gel formula glides over the lid making application super quick and easy. You don’t need a brush to apply these fingers work brilliantly, I found using my fingers first to achieve a good first layer worked best. I then found by using a flat headed brush I was able to pat more colour onto the lid for a more intense look. I teamed the shades Pearl ( a pretty pale green shimmer ) and Bronze ( a rich chesnut shimmer ) together to create a soft day look. As the formulation allows quick easy blending you can mix the shades and play around with different looks. Using a shade like pearl over the lid especially in the inner corner of the eye you can create a soft highlight. Whilst applying bronze over the top means you can create a soft smokey look, pearl shines through giving a really pretty day look.
Max Factor have seriously got it covered for mascara, the new Masterpiece Transform Mascara £9.99 is a must for mascara junkies. The wand is a work of art, a thinner brush with shorter bristles allows you to get at the root of the lash comfortably. The wand fits neatly and easily along the roots meaning you can apply the formula from root to tip, giving lashes an instant lifting and shaping effect. You can create a dramatic effect with a few coats without the lashes looking clumpy and weighed down. I couldn’t believe the length my lashes went just after one coat. The formulation and special wand seriously transform your lashes with minimal effort.
