Random Acts of Amy Has a Logo!

Now that I have a small business, Random Acts of Amy on Etsy, I want to unify my brand. What better way to do that than with a logo?

When I made the decision to have a logo made, I tried to do it myself. MAJOR fail! It turns out I am not a graphic designer So I went to the one person I had in mind to take on this task: Lauren Davis of Lauren Davis Creative. (She and her husband also own one of my favorite indie shops in Rockford, IL: Culture Shock).

Lauren was so great to work with! She asked if I had any ideas for my logo, and I did. I had started a Pinterest Board with colors that appealed to me, and other logos I adore. Go to that Board, and you will see how spot on Lauren was in creating a logo I am so proud of!

Another thing that Lauren did for me was to create my logo in black and white. She told me that it’s just as important to have a fabulous looking black and white version specially designed, as it is to have an awesome color version. THAT’S the kind of first class service you get from Lauren Davis Creative!

Next up, Lauren is designing business cards for me. I have a Business Cards Pinterest Board set up with colors, elements, and styles I like. I cannot wait to see what Lauren creates for me!
