DIY Wood Grain Glitter Pot

Ever since I figured out that it is very difficult to kill cacti and succulents, I've been filling the apartment with them. So when Amy from Mod Podge Rocks came out with these new Mod Podge Peel and Stick Stencils and asked if anyone wanted to test them out for her, I was quick to choose a flower pot for my stenciling project. :)


You need:
-Mod Podge Rocks Peel and Stick Stencils
-Plants (My succulents and cacti are from here.)
-Mod Podge Podgeable Glitters
-Spouncer
-Surface for glitter podging

First you need to stick the stencils to your surface and use the spouncer to add Mod Podge between the open parts of the stencil. It's a little tricky when your surface isn't flat, but still doable. There are additional tips on how to use the glitter stencils here.

After you add the Mod Podge, just sprinkle glitter on top of the stencil. Continue this process all over your pot. (It looks a little messy, but you can wash the stencil after you're done to reuse it. The stickiness goes away a little bit, but you can make it sticky again with some sealant spray.)

Once you're done with the stencil, there might be some spots that you wish you'd gotten a bit more glittery. With a small paintbrush, fill in those spots and sprinkle some more glitter on there.
