It Makes Scents

i'm one of those people that has to consciously think to spritz perfume on before walking out the door. i don't know what it is, but it's just not second nature to me. i know some people (including my roommate) that wouldn't dare leave the house without it. i'm sensitive to strong scents, so i tend to buy more 'delicate' perfumes and body sprays. i don't want people to smell me coming from a mile away, but i do like to smell good.
i've been using the Caudalie The Des Vignes for awhile now and just love the scent. it's one of my favorites and will probably remain a staple in my perfume collection for years to come. i just picked up the Sonia Kashuk's Yellow Alluriana body spray last week because it smells like spring and sunshine and happiness. i need a bit of that in my life, so i figured why not smell like it?
the three smaller bottles are from a company called Commodity Goods. they sent me a sample pack to try some of their scents and see what i thought. they all smelled great, but my favorites were Paper, Pinot, and Mimosa. i love that they're scents of ordinary things, but they definitely are not ordinary scents. (how poetic...) the small size makes them perfect for traveling or throwing in my purse, in case i need a little pick-me-up in the afternoon or evening. not to mention, it makes sense that i love the Pinot scent because i love wine. and mimosas. and paper. i mean, where would we be without paper?

do you have a go-to scent or do you like to mix it up?
