nendo: pooh-table

pooh-table by nendo Japanese design studio nendo has been already featured several times on our website. As designers describe their work, they want to provide the "!" moment with every project. We surely got that feeling again, seeing pooh-table series created for Walt Disney Japan. Each piece reflects particular Winnie-the-Pooh's character not only by the colorful clothes, but also by its size. Sitting at the table must be an exciting adventure with this project! "To reflect the stories' setting in the Hundred Acre Wood, the tables use natural-feel maple extensively, and come in sizes and silhouettes intended to recall the stories' characters. Coloured knit cladding on different parts of the tables subtly indicates each character through their distinctive clothes, hair and tails, and suggests that the tables are like stuffed animals, too."
