mpgmb: Bwd Collection

Bwd Collection by mpgmb Mpgmb is a design practice established in 2013 by two university friends, Marie-Pier Guilmain and Maud Beauchamp. The studio is based in Montréal and works on a wide range of projects from jewellery to furniture, 2D art and beyond. With their multidisciplinary approach to design, they not only create a variety of products, but also find their inspiration in different areas of life. They fuse ideas drawn from everyday surroundings, as well as from their rich travel experience. Marie-Pier and Maud glean textures, materials, proportions and forms from different places and try to implement those impressions into their work, creating their own design language. Bwd is a limited ceramic stoneware collection- each piece was crafted only once in Montréal, Canada. This set shows perfectly what the mpgmb’s design is like- spontaneous, playful and witty.
