Natalie Herrera, who is the creative mind behind High Gloss, has a graphic design background, so no wonder that all pieces are made according to the rules of proportions, grids and angles. Games with geometry, as well as clever use of both positive and negative space, are recurring themes in the work of High Gloss. To achieve perfect forms Natalie uses just a narrow range of non-clay sculpting tools - x-acto knives, rulers and drafting triangle. All pieces are wheel-thrown or hand-built in Brooklyn, New York.
