SAMF Arquitectos: Casa Do Caseiro

Casa Do Caseiro by SAMF Arquitectos Located in Portugal’s impressing Douro Valley, Casa Do Caseiro (Portuguese for Caretaker’s House) was designed by Sara Antunes Mário Ferreira Arquitectos. The region is well-known for its vineyards and the house is situated at the entrance to one of such a vintage wine farm. The house iwas designed for the person that looks after the farm. Simple inside, its bright exterior stands confidently against the rustic backdrop of the farm’s other buildings. What’s so compelling in the building’s interior is the rich use of blue colour. It covers all of the building’s woodwork, including window frames and the table. Set in the beautiful Portuguese landscape, Casa Do Caseiro is a small house with big charm, where the caretaker of the farm can easily relax after a day of hard work.
