Fall 2014 Lookbook by Spartan Shop Spartan Shop stocks a carefully curated collection of beautiful, practical objects, influenced by the changing seasons without straying far from the core inventory of reliable, classic items. Spartan Shop is run by Currie Parson, Patrick Newell and their partner Julie Pearson. These passionate people are also collaborative partners in the Beam & Anchor shop in Portland, Oregon, and the Voyager shop in San Francisco. No wonder they spend a lot of time on the road. Watching the careful selection of Spartan Shop items you can really feel the personal imput coming from the owners. Currie shared with us the story of how they came up with idea of Spartan: "I happened upon a space to share with a friend and started dreaming of a neighborhood shop with an eye for great design - the kind of space you just want to pop in to see what is new, grab a gift for a friend, or something timeless and beautifully made for your home. It is really important to us to create a great experience - inviting smells, good music, perhaps a beer or a glass of champagne.
