Rugged Sweater Boots DIY

You better believe I've been craving a pair of boots like this ever since I first saw the trend. I'm a sucker for a good pattern, so when I found this knitted fabric, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
Supplies: Boots with some type of pattern within the leather. Your fabric can be something like an old sweater, knitted fabric, or thin canvas; sturdy fabric that's not too bulky. Pantry Supplies: Thick leather or fabric glue, paint brush, scissors.
Begin by applying glue to the areas you want to cover with fabric. I worked by small sections so that the glue was fresh when I went to apply the fabric. You'll want to leave the edges free of glue so that you can fold the edges of the fabric after you've attached it to the boot. // Begin applying the fabric to boots. Make sure you have enough fabric to wrap all the way around the boot so that all the rough edges can be covered. // Once you've completely covered the boot in fabric, cut off the extra edges, leaving 1/4 inch around the edges. Fold these edges inward and glue them all along the edge of the pattern on the boot. This gives the final product a clean edge.
This chilly weather has inspired a lot of warm, cozy projects lately. What projects are you creating for the cold season?
