{Burt’s Bees} Lip Crayon

Matte lipsticks are popping up everywhere lately! The trick is finding a matte lipstick without the yucky dry feeling.

I recently picked up Burt’s Bees NEW Matte Lip Crayons in Hawaiian Smolder (pink) and Napa Vineyard (red). I’ve tried and loved other lip chubbies, but these are not like the others… they’re opaque and matte!

Here are my observations on the lip crayons.

• Comfort: Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons are surprising comfortable for a matte lip color. No dry or chapped feeling. This is coming from a chronically dry lip sufferer, so that says a lot!
• Coverage: The chubbies are full coverage!
• Colors: Available in 6 colors. I purchased Hawaiian Smolder and Napa Vineyard.

• Matte: In terms of the matte-ness, some colors are more matte than others. I noticed that Napa Vineyard has a pretty matte finish, but Hawaiian Smolder has a more semi-matte finish.
• Lasting Power: Matte lipsticks tend to wear longer, so these are no different. They last.
• Packaging: Twist up chubby makes it easy to use on the go. No sharpening needed.
• Fragrance: No fragrance.

Final Thoughts: I would recommend these! Not only because they feel good on the lips, but also because they’re from Burt’s Bees and you know they’re 100% natural.
