Daily Look: Port Aransas Trip

I promise that even though I am posting this super late in the day, we are back from vacation and will be returning to daily posts this week. As I drove the seven hours from Port Aransas to Plano last night after a nine hour fishing trip, I felt that any post produced right when I got home would have been gibberish. I am now rested and ready to share!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will already know that about a minute after I got back from my California vacation with Lauren, I joined my boyfriend and his family for a whirlwind trip to the Texas coast. I had gotten this crop top in the mail the day I left, and although I only planned to wear it with high-waisted skirts like Lauren taught me here, I thought a beach road trip might be the perfect opportunity to test the limits of my belly-baring self-consciousness.

Lloyd assured me many times that it did not look in the least bit provocative, but I did notice when editing the pictures that I looked a bit unsure in a lot of them. Maybe it will just take some getting used to!

Once we arrived (at 4:20 a.m.) we had a great time kayaking, fishing, and walking the beach. We even got to visit the restaurant my family always hits up whenever we stay in Port A--Snoopy's! Now I'm ready for some cuddle time with my kitties and overdue for a trip to the grocery store.

Anyone else getting some last minute summer trips in?
