Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength – Review!

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength

Happy Sunday, ya’ll! I spent quite literally my whole day cleaning. This sounds super boring, and it kind of was, but I like taking pride in my crib. Plus I am dog-sitting the family Siberian Husky & mascot, Sasha. After several “accidents” on the rug and mischievous behavior, I took her on a 1 mile run today to tire her out. Good news? It worked, and she has been catatonic on the couch since we got home 5 hours ago. Bad news? All this running and cleaning is catching up with me, and my skin, and it needed some emergency R R. And that’s just what I did, with my favorite facial peel: Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel

I originally got a sample of this product in my Birchbox, and went crazy for it. I’m only 25 and try to stay away from skincare I may not be ready for yet (age-wise), but this product gave me a beautiful glow, and lifted all those dead, dull skin cells. Ironically, it is meant for people in their 20′s and up!

This product is is a potent alpha and beta hydroxy acid peel, with spa-grade performance and leaves skin looking and feeling firmer, line-free, and also helps with hyper-pigmentation. I love this product because I have decent skin acne-wise, but have slight acne scarring and dark spots I’d like to see fade. Also, my skin-tone is a bit uneven, and this helps with that as well! The Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel comes in two versions: Full Strength & Sensitive Skin. My skin is oily, so I prefer the full strength. A little information on the product from the Juice Beauty website:

Benefits

  • Evens skin tone and texture with a spa grade exfoliation from a potent patented dose of alpha hydroxy acids (malic, citric & tartaric from organic fruits, glycolic and lactic acids) and beta hydroxy acid (salicylic acid from willow bark).
  • Reduces hyperpigmentation and dark spots with alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxy acids.
  • Smoothes fine lines with Vitamin A.
  • Fights free radical skin damage with antioxidant-rich resveratrol from grapeseed.
  • Provides essential nutrients to promote healthy cellular turnover & healing with Vitamins A, C & E.

The Juice Beauty site also has an awesome, thorough section indicating ingredients, and what exactly they’re doing for your skin!

Green Apple Peel Ingredients

Gooey Peanut Butter?

The product itself doesn’t really smell like green apple, thank goodness because I can’t stand green apples. I found it funny and ironic though that the product itself looks an awful lot like peanut butter (what goes better with apples??). This peel goes on very smoothly and clear, which is nice compared to other facial masks as you can go outside and not give your neighbor a scare. After leaving on for ten minutes, my skin is already tighter, brighter, and just feels good! I highly recommend this peel if you’re a young one like me; If you want to try this product out, you can pick it up at Ulta for $45 for 2 oz. And if you don’t wanna take the plunge… ask them for sample! That’s what they’re there for

Next up for Sunday Night? Sending the devil dog home, enjoying dinner with my beau, and a new episode of The Newsroom. Ahh…
