Sunday Photo Wrap Up

It’s True

My week in photos, and maybe a bonus or two…

Furniture Shopping

My beau and I are currently re-doing our dining room, and after weeks-going-on-months of construction, waiting, and installation… it’s finally time to look at furniture! I loved this dining room set, specifically the studded bench it came with. Vair contemporary!

I <3 Pet Head Dry Shampoo for Dogs

My Siberian Husky (The Sash) is very unruly, and baths are an absolute no-no. A vet won’t see her without sedating her first (I’m serious), so a pet groomer is not an option. Once, my mother and I tried shampooing the dog the traditional way; She freaked out, and we both ended up soaked with gray fur all over ourselves. I thought this water-less pet shampoo was cute beyond words, and necessary for Sasha! It’s by the makers of Bed Head, hence the name, I <3 Pet Head. The whole “bath” took about 25 minutes, and Sasha didn’t mind until the very end (she hates being sprayed with water). Today Sasha smells like yummy blueberries (and still a tiny bit like Frito’s, but whatever).

Cuteness Overload

My best friend’s baby with drink in hand whilst watching Sex & The City movie – she already has great taste! Love her.

Italian Cookin’

I am a newbie chef, but didn’t let that get in the way of making my friend Denise’s fabulous meatballs. I am half Italian/Sicilian and grew up eating only the best gravy and meatballs from my Grandmom Denise is also Italian and 1st generation, so sharing Italian blood, she shared her recipe with me to pass it on. I like to think of Denise as my Italian Mother, as my own is Irish (that side of me is better known for it’s drinking).

Hand-Me-Downs!

I loved hand-me-downs growing up, and growing up in a frugal family, they were around a lot. I haven’t gotten them in a longgg time, but my favorite co-worker hooked me up with some of her clothes before they hit Good Will – basically a whole backseat’s worth. I feel like I just went on a shopping spree charge-free; Most of the clothes are brand new, or in great condition (and I even scored a French Connection sweater and Michael Kors top, holla!). Thank Tara :-*

Crochet Minions

I die every time I look at these! A co-worker is a fantastic crafter, crocheter, knitter, etc. and made me this cute Bride Minion! Super cuddly, and something I certainly could never find in a store. Also – I think The Minion Bride has a bigger ring than I, and I am a little jealous! :-O

(Some) Fantasy Football Draft Picks

This is my first season playing fantasy football, and it was a lot more fun than I expected! My team name, The Walking Dez, is a play on words of Dallas Cowboys’ Dez Bryant and (obviously) the show The Walking Dead. I am not a Cowboys fan (don’t get it twisted!), but he was a deifnite pick. I also got Aaron Rodgers, Alex Smith who is adorable and looks like Ryan Gosling, and some dude Yahoo picked for me named “Golden Tait”. Our team slogan? “Look Good First”, since I picked most players based on their cuteness or funny names. Anyway, it should be a fun and interesting fall at work!

Edith Flagg the American Cowgirl

Lastly, what better way to ring in September than some Edith Flagg in amazing get-up? You go, Edith – you go girl.
