I love Rifle Paper Company. Their products are whimsical and vintage, while maintaining a classic vibe. I thought using the pretty florals from Rifle Paper Company as inspiration could make very pretty wrapping.

I started by choosing my palette and mixed in some greys, white and black to create different hues.

Next, I looked to Rifle Paper Company designs for inspiration on shapes.

In the end, my design was driven by trying to find shapes that would fill the negative spaces.

I love the end result and will definitely be making some of this paper. Spending a chill Sunday afternoon to complete this project was also very relaxing! If you create your own floral wrapping, please share. I would be so interested to see everyone's designs.
