Sunday Encouragement-Friendships

I’m heading home from Haven today. I’ve had a wonderful time but I’m ready to be home! One of the blessings that has come out of my blogging is the friendships I’ve formed with other bloggers.

I spent a lot of time with Becky from Organizing Made Fun and Jen from Balancing Beauty and Bedlam (Jen and I were roomies!) We not only have blogging in common but we are sisters in Christ.

I need friends like Becky and Jen, they remind me of what’s important. They challenge me to grow in my faith. Proverbs 27:17 says, As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

It’s important for us to have friends that help us grow in our faith. As women, we sometimes don’t take the time to build friendships with other women. But we need each other and we need to encourage each other.

Do you try to build friendships with other women? Do you have women that you can share your faith with?

Yesterday we went to dinner at Seasons 52. I love this restaurant, if you have one near you, you should go, immediately. (Again, these were taken with my iphone, ugh!)

On the way to Haven I listened to a CD that a friend made for me after my Mom passed away. I have listened to it hundreds of times. This is one of the songs on the CD. I think I’ve shared it before but I love love it.

Have a blessed day!
