This morning I was wondering why I was drinking my coffee with an aching left arm and then I remembered lugging this HUMONGOUS book home from my friendly neighbourhood Orbital shop yesterday. I don't regret it one bit though, in fact I still can't quite take in just how awesome this book is. You can get an idea of the kind of scale we're talking here, by comparing it to the regular comic I've placed next to it. The pages inside are absolutely stunning, and you can see the way Jim Steranko developed his style from the first collaborations with Jack Kirby through to his solo outings, honing his considerable skills with each issue.
