Yep, that’s right. I’m bundled up in the BEST deal I somehow managed to find over at NordstromRack last week. I know, I know. It’s one of those treasures that’s almost TOO good to share, especially considering the fact that this exact coat is actually available right now for FULL retail at $545. Don’t hate me, but guess how much I got it for? …$199 (eeek! I know!) I almost didn’t believe my eyes ;) And the funny thing is, I actually started admiring this coat last season when I saw it on someone in NYC…and mustered up the courage to ask her who made it. Anyway, you can imagine my excitement when I snatched it on Mah-hayyy-ger sale!

I love the feminine cut of this coat and am crazy about the oversized lapel (aka the big collar); it’s so ‘Olivia Pope’ and, like her, communicates such class and sophistication. And the length of this coat makes it just long enough to keep warm, but short enough not overwhelm (slash completely eliminate) the outfit. Wrap coats are ideal for this time of year because they’re easy to layer underneath and are perfect for bundling up tight to fight the cold temps – all the while looking chic as ever ;) For those of you looking to get started on your holiday shopping, I think a pretty coat would make a lovely gift ;)
