American Apparel dress, Steve Madden boots
It's funny that a lot of my time here in New York thus far has consisted of some major park-hopping, and the juxtaposition of natural spaces within the city. I think that having left a lot of greenery in California, I've just been drawn to these little pockets of green. I am slightly obsessed with Prospect Park (despite the fact that it is a ways away from me) and the Hudson River Park/Pier 40 (which is, at the moment, within walking/running distance). What I love about the two aforementioned parks is that you don't feel like you are in New York necessarily and there are definitely less tourists than in Central Park. Thankfully, Central Park on the Upper West is less touristy as well (the place in the pictures), and has enough room for frolicking. The sun has been setting so late, and I've really been able to spend time until late evening inside of various parks.
