BooTea Review

14 Day TeaTox - c/o BooTea
As I stated when I first introduced health and fitness to my blog, you may think of me as your guinea pig. With that in mind I decided it was time to try a new tea tox. Many of you struggled to get your hands on the last one so I decided to go in search of a new one, this time closer to home. Please allow me to introduce you to BooTea and their 14 day Tea Tox from right here in the UK.
They Claim that their tea:
• Increase your metabolism • Burn calories and convert food to energy • Burn fat & counteract fat storage • Regulate blood sugar levels • Assist in the digestion of food • Suppress appetite • Improve skin health • Improve quality of sleep • Cleanse & detoxify • Allow you to reach your health/weightloss goals and that all their ingredients are pure, natural & preservative free. Strong claims to say the least so I decided to put their tea to the test. I started my day with one silky tea bag of DayTime Cleanse tea (it always tastes better from a silky tea bag am I right or am I right?) and for the first tea tox time EVER, genuinely enjoyed the taste. The most notable ingredient being the lemongrass. Come night time I poured myself a mug of the Bedtime cleanse, they recommended doing this at the weekend as this tea induces a laxative effect (I'm sure that's a mental image no one needs) but billy big bollocks over here didn't listen. You can have my word that it works and we can leave it at that.
As always my goal is not about weightloss, more about the general cleansing, improved digestion and bloating. However, and I can't say I noticed, rather a few of you had commented on some of my Instagram pictures that I'd lost weight during the time of my BooTea Cleanse. I'm not saying it was definitely down to it, but it seems a bit coincidental don't you think? I'd been experiencing some more bloating since being put on a new pill by my doctor and the tea was a welcomed relief from the effects of that. The experience on a whole was actually rather enjoyable however I don't think I would do the bed time cleanse again even if I did feel great afterwards. Once is enough, when purely for experience purposes. But considering the overall taste of the tea was so pleasant I'm slightly sad that my DayTime Cleanse is finished. Have you tried BooTea? If you have please let me know what you thought of it in a comment below :)
