BK - #11 and Born Pretty Store Studs & Decals Review

#11 is a purple creme polish. The formula was nice to apply and I used three coats. This polish is very affordable at only $2.95 and free shipping. There are lots of different colours available.

There are 12 different shapes in this stud wheel and I tried to use all of them but I think there were one or two that I didn't use. To place these on your nail all you need to do is put a coat of top coat on your nail (it's best to use a slow drying top coat so it stays sticky while you work). Use a toothpick dipped in top coat to pick up the stud and place it on your nail. When you are finished you can use a top coat over the studs to keep them in place.

For the larger studs such as the ones I used for the flower on my index finger you may want to use nail glue or super glue to stick them to your nail. I only used top coat and they came off very easily. I didn't use top coat over the top because they stuck out off my nail.

These water decals come on a sheet of about 150 images. You apply a water decal the same way as a temporary tattoo. Cut out the pattern that you want to use from the sheet. Put the design against your nail and apply a wet cloth/tissue over the top. You'll need to make sure your nail polish is 100% dry because you'll need to apply slight pressure to transfer the image. It only took about 10-15 seconds for the design to transfer to my nail. Finish off with a coat of top coat to seal the design on your nail.

I've seen these pump style bottles used for nail polish remover and have always wanted to try them. I've been using mine for about a month now and really like it! It holds a more liquid than my old screw cap polish remover bottle.

To use the pump bottle you need to twist the lid to unlock it and open the cap. Then push down on the top of the bottle to pump remover to the shallow dish at the top. It will pool in the dish and will not drain away until you have used it.

The dish is very shallow so if you accidentally pump too much remover you won't waste very much.
I mix up my own nail polish remover using water and acetone in the pump bottle. If you don't mix your own then you can decant another nail polish remover into this bottle.
