Sia’s “Chandelier” Lights Up the Music World

When a song is great vocally and musically, it needs a video to complete the story. Many artists have attempted to do that; some succeeding and some failing (you know who I’m talking about). So when Sia released the video for “Chandelier” last week, the standard was completely shattered.

Set in a decrepit apartment, the spirit of the song is brought to life through the incredibly talented dancer, Maddie Ziegler’s performance – quickly becoming my favorite piece of choreography ever.

It just goes to show you that a music video doesn’t need special effects or exotic locations to be beautiful and inspiring. Take a look at the feature above and feel the raw talent and emotion that radiates from beginning to end. It’s enough to really make you want to swing from a chandelier.
