CreamSilk at 30

One of the main reasons why I’ve been in Manila these past couple of days is because of my new commitments as one of Unilever’s newest Beauty Ambassadors. This role has kept me busy covering their big events and participating in their summits- like the Dove #RealBeauty summit on going as we speak! I’m actually writing this right now in my hotel room, post make-up removal (with a video crew from FOX and a very hesitant me) and pre-self-discovery session. Anyway, today I’d like to share with you one of the biggest events I’ve ever witnessed, the Cream Silk ball! 30 years later, this brand still continues to celebrate women who have gone where their hair can take them and who represent being #BeyondBeautiful. CreamSilk partnered with 6 magazines to recognize 150 women, who all went up on stage with me (I felt soooo out of place!) and their powerful trio: Anne Curtis Smith, Sam Pinto and Heart Evangelista. The Punta Real Gardens at Intramuros has never been so packed with personalities and celebrities who all looked beyond stunning! Thank you so much to Unilever for having me, it’s such an honor.
