Beauty Tricks for Every Girl

I think it’s come as no surprise that I love beauty as much as I love fashion. I usually have these random talks with my sisters and friends about what make up tricks I love doing. Surprisingly, some of the tips I thought were universal are actually foreign to a few out there. So for those girls who need a little hand in the beauty department, I hope these quick and easy tricks will help you out. Enjoy!

1. For bigger eyes, add WHITE EYELINER to your bottom waterline. Then add a thin brown or black eyeliner with a pencil just after that and smudge with a clean eyeliner brush. This will give your eyes more depth.

2. To get that perfect winged eye or cat eye effect is hard for the unskilled wrist. The trick in making it easier is when you start at the bottom. Extend your bottom liner diagonally upward at the outer corners of your eye, and simply connect with your top eyeliner. Easy peasy!

3. If you have unruly lashes, heat your eyelash curler! It has the same effect as heat styling your hair- it holds!

4. If your lashes always stay stick straight or don’t hold the curl after you add mascara, then your mascara is too thick and too wet. Try to pump the wand in and out of the tube a few times to add air into the formula, making it a little drier and more holding.

5. Curl your original lashes before applying false ones so that gravity doesn’t weigh it down. Poke it upwards while the glue is tacky so it opens your eyes instead of making it look heavy and droopy.

6. To make lipstick last longer, apply liptick, cover lips with 1 ply of tissue, and then dust a layer of translucent powder over it.

7. When applying concealer under your eye, form an inverted triangle and then blend it out. This will make your skin appear smoother and younger because of the instant lift the highlight creates.

8. The distance between your brows usually gives the illusion of the width of your nose. If you want your nose to look slimmer, draw them in closer together.

9. Make up is all about illusions. Use your highlights and contours to give your face more depth. For slimmer and higher cheekbones, apply contour from the mid of the ear to above the bottom jawline, and highlights on the bone above your cheeks.

10. To make lips appear fuller, add highlighter to the middle of the top of the upper lip (cupids bow) and the middle of the bottom lip.

Hope these simple tips give you an easier time getting ready. Let me know if they are helpful and if you like posts like this so I can create more content for you guys! Happy work week and hoping you all stay your most beautiful selves, with or without make up!
