Dressing for Bipolar Weather

It’s unusually gloomy back home in Cebu these days, and the skies seem to enjoy the weather’s bipolar capabilities. Getting dressed has become harder, especially when you wear a sweater and the sun suddenly comes out, or you wear your fave new shoes and the rain starts to pour. So in case my lovely readers are having a bit of trouble getting ready in the morning, I thought a little break from my Korea posts is in order to make way for a little outfit inspiration. My easy solution to weird weather woes is to dress in neutral hues lightweight fabrics to beat the heat and humidity. When it rains in tropical countries like ours, it just seems to get hotter and stickier. So instead of opting for a cute parka or pullover, I suggest a breezy combination like the one I am wearing above and a lightweight cardigan in the rare case it gets chilly. As for my shoes- I always carry a pair of foldable flats from Butterfly Twists, so I can easily change into them in case my shoes get wet, or when my feet die in heels. And since raincoats aren’t exactly du jour now a days, pop on a hat to keep your head (and hair) raindrop free. Stay dry!x
