L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water
I love taking off my makeup. The sooner I can scrape it off the better and recently I've been trying out a few different products to see which ones I find most efficient in taking off my makeup quickly and gently. I've previously dabbled in the likes of La Roche Posay (was okay, not great) Vichy and Bioderma which you can see a comparison post of here. But this is my first dip of a toe into L'Oreal's offerings and here is how I got on...
L'Oreal's Skin Perfection Micellar is an effective solution that removes makeup from the face and from within the pores to leave your face clean and fresh without stripping it. The oils within the water dissolve the makeup when used with a cotton pad and swiped across the skin and Skin Perfection performs perfectly for me. It feels quite moisturising in the sense that my skin doesn't feel rubbery and "squeaky clean" once I've used it so I feel confident that the natural oils in my face haven't been stripped completely!
One thing I was really suprised at is how well it stands up to mascara!! With some cleanser on a cotton pad held up against the eye for a short while it takes off ALL of my mascara, unlike most micellar waters and a few eye makeup removers which either fail miserably or leave little bits stuck to the eyelashes which eventually end up pulling the eyelashes out anyway!
Overall I'm loving this micellar solution and I will definitely be repurchasing it and for a drugstore purchase, I couldn't have asked for more!
