NEW IN - BEAUTY PRODUCTS
Here comes a post that gets me really excited because I just love to talk about beauty products! These are my recently purchased skincare products as well as makeup items. Some are completely new to me while others are products I buy regularly. I hope you enjoy the post!
Skincare:
- The Body Shop - Mango Hand Cream. It seems like I always have some new hand creams in stock.. I tend to rotate between several ones but I really enjoy the great scents they have at The Body Shop. Before starting the mango scented one, I'm currently using the moringa hand cream.
- The Body Shop - Vitamin E Eye Cream. I bought this to try it because some YouTuber (I don't remember her name, but she was a really pretty British model) highly recommended it. I've used it about four times now and so far, I've been really liking it. Goodbye dark circles!
- L'Oréal - Skin Perfection. Although I'm currently using the dm drugstore dupe of this cream, I thought I should try the original one too and luckily, I even got a nice discount on it. I haven't yet tried it, but if I end up liking it even more than the Balea Teint Perfektion, I'll sure write about it.
- Nivea - Sensitive Day Cream. This cream saved my skin last winter when I got really dry patches around my nose. It's a lovely moisturizer that works against dryness, redness, and tightness. It comes at a really great price, it costs 4 Euros (if I'm not mistaken).
- L'Occitane - Set of four mini hand creams and a nail file. This cute little bag was supposed to be a 'complimentary' gift for being a loyal customer at the L'Occitane shop. Well, turns out you have to buy something in order to have your loyalty rewarded. I ended up spending 15 Euros on yet another hand cream ('Rose délice', the most amazing scent) and lip balm (also from the rose délice range). The mini hand creams come in this sweet pouch that I'm always taking to university now. It perfectly fits a compact, lipstick, blotting papers, and hand cream, of course.
Some super cheap buys from the drugstore:
- Manhattan - Soft Compact Powder in Transparent. I simply love this powder and always have one in stock. I wrote about it before in my foundation post and how much I like to use this to set my makeup. No touch-ups needed!
- Essence - Oil Control Powder "Fesches Madl". Although I rarely need powder touch-ups throughout the day, I do like to take off any sweat and shine from my forehead with blotting paper. I used to have the Shiseido ones, but these papers do the job just as well for less than two Euros. Unfortunately, they came in a limited edition.
- Catrice - Liquid Liner in Dating Joe Black. My entire eye makeup game changed when I started using this eyeliner. I had always thought I was too clumsy to properly apply liquid liner, but this product makes the application so easy and I love that it's an intensive black colour. I'm always wearing it in my outfit posts.
Who doesn't love some new makeup?
- Essence - Lipliner in Honey Berry. I wore this in my Swan Lake post recently which was right on the day that I bought it. Although I'm not a girl who lines her lips, I really like using this as a matte lipstick all over my lips. You have to try it - it's only 95 Cents!
- MAC - Sheertone Blush in Peaches. One day last week, I started craving a peachy blush. Like, I just couldn't put on pink blush without wanting it to be peach. Then I got this MAC blush and although I really like it and think that it looks super pretty, I realized that the colour I actually was apricot. I guess it's time to get those fruits straight...
- Lancôme - Baume in Love in Peach Melodie. Peaches again! This is a really nice sheer-toned lip balm that gives little colour and a lot of moisture to the lips. Plus, it smells/tastes great.
