Hey everyone ♥
Hope you all are having a great start of 2014! This year is going to be filled with creativity, success, and big changes for many people. Really stressing on creativity because I can sense everyone being so charged full of personal motivation and drive this year. Very exciting!
In regards to myself, 2014 has started out amazingly. I've decided to focus more of my time into my passions rather than wasting time with school/toxic friends/working a shit job/ect. I've discovered that spending time doing the things that I love to do by myself is so much more rewarding and beneficial than anything else that I could be doing at the moment. For me, school was a waste of time. My mind is not 'school oriented' right now, and I think that that is perfectly okay. We all have the option to continue our educations when we're older. Education will always be an open option, easier to attain when you're younger, but I say that there should be no rush. I rushed into college and in turn I didn't do so well. For now I am taking a break from school and focusing on other projects and ideas. I've chosen to take the schooling of 'life' for now. To struggle a little bit so that I can dig deep and truly figure out exactly what I want to do with twenties.
You would be surprised how much different of a person you realize that you are once you have no job, no school, and no social life. It's a refreshing but scary experience. You discover how much more vulnerable you ever thought that you were, but you also can use that as encouragement to work harder to become a stronger and much more determined person. I feel as if it's in these times of loneliness that we spend in our minds that we can truly become in touch with our purest inner being and dig up our truest desires without being clouded by other people's needs. It is perfectly fine to focus on yourself, because one day it will hit you all at once that you are all you have! So cherish that, respect yourself, and do what's best to bring out your inner light. Be distinct and unique. Shine in your own way.
I know that this post is a bit vague, but I'll get more in depth with the next post :) For now, take what I have said and try thinking about whether or not you are really doing what you want to be doing right now or if you're not spending time as wisely as you could be. Take advantage or your lives and current youth because it really doesn't last forever.
