It All Feels Right

Hello friends!
Happy to say that I have an upcoming job opportunity! I am very confident in my ability to land this job. It's a position on Foreign Exchange's visual team at a location here in my hometown. Initially I went in thinking I would be hired as a cashier, but even at my young age and with little to no actual experience they were very impressed with my skill, knowledge, and immense attention to detail when it comes to fashion. One good thing about not growing up in a competitive town like LA is that it's easy for someone like me to stick out from the crowd in situations like this. If you can go in and look AND act the part when other people seem like they have no clue(even if they may be more professional than you), fat chance is you'll land the job before they can. I believe that carrying yourself with confidence can and will get you just about anywhere. Anyway, I am so excited because who really wants to do grunt work when you can get yourself a higher up position in a company. Work smarter, not harder. Plus the benefits of gaining great learning experience in a slower paced environment like Bakersfield should help me to comfortably transition when looking for a job in LA. Wish me luck ♥
Today I am wearing a really cute bustier and skater skirt combo. I think of this outfit as a very flirty day date outfit, it's comfortable and casual yet sexy. I've also been avoiding black. Black has always been my go to and challenging myself with color has been a fun and rewarding experience. Wearing more color in public almost makes yourself pop and stand out. When I wear these brighter colors I usually have strangers approaching me to compliment my outfit. Who doesn't love a good compliment from a complete stranger?! It's a sweet feeling.
