A maxi and a crop top: one of the easiest combos to wear this summer and definitely one of my favorites. I wore this to the city the other night and since it was so hot and humid, this was literally the only thing I could tolerate to put on. I found this cobalt maxi skirt in the petite section at Kohls and was so happy that it fit perfectly in length. It works without heels too. YAY for petite sections by the way! This also has a side slit, making it much easier to walk in. The material is thin too, so I was able to keep cool. A new staple piece for me this season is definitely a crop top (specifically in black and white) since it can be paired with so many things. I like that this one is shorter in the middle than the sides. It shows just enough but not too much.
