Thankful

At my 30th birthday last week I got spoiled like crazy. It almost became embarrassing. At least for me! And that made me think…

Last saturday my husband also turned 30. Do you remember I mentioned something about a surprise here? I’ve been planning this for months and got him (together with his loved ones) a flying lesson in a real helicopter (his dream), a magazine full of articles written by his family and best friends and an rc airplane that has been on his wish list for ages. Even his parents came back from their vacation to share this moment with him! Normally he hates surprises, but he was so overwhelmed and happy and I felt so blessed to be able to do this for him.
But then there’s the moment you get presents. At that moment I’m feeling overwhelmed and do I have no idea what to say to extend my gratitude. Like my sister in law who was so happy she found this tee for me. My bestie, who gave me the most kitschy mug ever to share out weekly tea moments with. My parents who gave me my all time favorite perfume or a friend, who saw my summer essentials on the blog and got me my favorite summer douchegel. So thoughtful and so so sweet! I feel blessed to have so many thoughtful people around me. And than I haven’t even shown you the wall piece I got from my parents in law (check out my Instagram) or the ridiculous things the husband bought me!

Since I love them so much and the fact they thought so much about what they got me I will show you all of these thoughtful presents on the blog the next couple of days including something I got myself to celebrate this iconic age.

Love to hear what’s the most thoughtful present you ever got and I’m wishing you a wonderful weekend!
